A TRUE TESTIMONY OF GIVING!!

This brought me to tears this morning, tears of joy!! I am so amazed at how God is working through so many people to change our communities. Thank you ALL for taking the weekly challenge so seriously, ALL FOR THE GLORY OF GOD!! Please see the e-mail I received below!! IT IS AWESOME, WHAT A MIGHTY GOD WE SERVE!! All I can say is THANK YOU JESUS!! Thank you for multiplying our gifts and thank you for allowing others to see the importance to PASSING THE BLESSING ON. . .

Here is the e-mail -

Hey Joni! I went shopping yesterday to Rite Aid and Meijer. I saved over $40 at Rite Aid and got enough cereal to get my first $10 gift card from Kellogg’s cereal. Meijer has a deal this week that if you buy $10 worth of trial size items (prior to coupons) they will give you $2 off your purchase immediately. They paid me to buy trial size yesterday!!!! I looked at my coupons and I had several that did not have specific size requirements so I bought the trial sizes—Band-Aids, Tide, Old Spice body wash, Pantene and Herbal Essence hair products. I also got some other deals—I did 4 orders at Meijer and saved over $113!!!!!

The kids and I were able to get together 5 large grocery bags plus a big bottle of detergent for our Angel family for tomorrow! I also took several of the sample size to the guy who struggles with mental / money issues. It was kind of funny, the transportation manager—he is the one who gives the items to this guy, said to me today, are you interested in helping someone else out? I said why, he said he knew of another person/ family that could use some help. I told him I would do what I could—he is suppose to be letting me know more information. So, I may have another “Angel family” to help…it is growing!!!!

I also thought of putting together hygiene kits—toothbrush, toothpaste, body soap, deodorant, and shampoo for the local school for the school kids—at least then the kids could meet basic hygiene needs through these “goody bags”.

God is good and will provide!

~ All I can say thank you Jesus, thank you for multiplying our gifts that we put INTO YOUR HANDS!!

Praise the Lord! What a wonderful testimony! I have added your blog to my list and I hope to gain some great tips about couponing. My husband is unemployed and working odd jobs for a friend of ours. I homeschooland being a SAHM I really want to make sure I can save money on groceries. Food is so expensive so we are trying to grow a few things in pots and use coupons for a few items.
