Power in a Testimony!!

At my coupon classes I share my personal testimony of why my mission is about PASSING THE BLESSING ON!! I tell of why it is important for EVERYONE to give! It is not about us getting recognition, but ALL about glorifying God. If we give to be noticed, then we are giving for the wrong reasons. We MUST reevaluate our motives!! I have prayed many of times if God wants me to continue to share my story and this is the e-mail I came home to tonight!! I thnk God is telling me "Yes, share your story". What a mighty God we serve!!

"There is power in your personal story. Whether it's dramatic like Paul's, or subtle like Andrew's . . . Whether you've lived a life of immorality, like the woman at the well, or were a relatively "good" person like Nicodemus . . . Whether your conversion was sparked by a great miracle, like the demon-possessed man among the tombs, or it began in quiet contemplation, like Nathanael under the fig tree . . . Your story is your own, and it can be used powerfully by God.

You see, no one can argue with a changed life. When the man who was healed of blindness was brought before the Pharisees, he didn't have much to tell them. He simply gave them the facts—"One thing I know: that though I was blind, now I see," (John 9:25)—and the truth spoke for itself.

"But," you might argue, "my testimony is boring! I don't have a sordid past with juicy details. There wasn't a blinding light or a miraculous healing or a voice from heaven." Listen, when you received Jesus as your Savior, your eternal destination changed instantly from hell to heaven. There is nothing boring about that!

So, share your story with others and let God use it for His glory."

What I went through was horrible, but I am a better person for it. Thank you Jesus for using my testimony to speak to others!! There is power in giving back. . . PASS THE BLESSING ON ALL FOR THE GLORY OF GOD!!
